This policy sets the basis on which any information that we collect about you, or that you provide us, will be processed by us.

What information do we collect?

Crown Resort Management S.L.U. is the company that manages the residential complex where you have been hosted or have contracted some kind of holiday service or leisure complement. The information collected at some point of your stay, is strictly necessary to provide you the services requested and that you have contracted with us. Whether by management requirements or to comply with legal Spanish requirements, without which, you could not enjoy our service.

When you make a booking with us, you must provide at least your contact details, your name, phone, e-mail, dates of stay, payment document or credit card.

When you arrive into our complex to enjoy our services, we must complete this information with a copy of your passport or identity document, preferences for your stay, including information about any food allergy or physical limitation to be able to safely provide the services.

If you receive our Vacation Planner prior to your stay, you can hire additional and complementary services and directly related with it. Here also you must give us your basic information and credit card number to be able to charge you for these services.

If you use our payment service via Wifi, you should know that your user details, the information of the devices from which you access the network, and the connection history, will be stored by the service provider, a requirement of the security regulations for a period of time established by law. This information remains stored confidentially during the period of time established by law and can only be transferred to law enforcement forces and agencies and authorities authorised to do so.

In the complex there are cameras connected to a closed-circuit video, which serve to monitor and uphold the complex security and your own. These images are legally recorded and we won’t record situations that could damage your privacy at any time.

It is possible that you participated in a recreational event organised by us in our facilities. During these events our animation and marketing team can take photographic images, that can be used as a graphic complement in our web site, publications, etc. These images will be taken and will always be used with your consent.

Either way, the information is always provided by you, so we will just trust that it is accurate and truthful.

What do we do with the information?

We only use the information in order to provide the services contracted with the quality and safety that you will require us. When you finish these services, we will keep your information for the required time to comply with other laws and regulations of the Spanish administration, and for our own statistics, because we want to recognize you if you return to enjoy our facilities and we hope that you do so. If it is not the case and we do not hear from you again, as a guideline, we will delete the information from our data bases after 8 years.

Security camera images will be deleted after thirty days, in accordance with the regulations, and will only be available at the request of the law enforcement forces and agencies and justice organisations that duly require it.

Your contact details, when staying at the complex, are transferred with your consent to the company Mertex Investments S.L. (Avda. del Sol 5, Benalmádena). This company is responsible for bringing commercial information about Club Crown Resorts, and the only purpose authorised in this data transfer is the one stated.

What are your rights and how to make use of them?

You may at all times exercise your information/access, rectification, portability, cancellation or blocking rights by requesting it via email to lopd@crownresorts.com, identifying yourself appropriately, or via mail to the address Calle Monte Paraíso 2, 29649 Mijas Costa (España).

Changes in the Privacy Policy

Crown Resort Management S.L.U. reserves the right to modify this privacy policy to adapt it to new legislations or jurisprudence, as well as industry practices. In such cases, the changes introduced will be announced on this page with reasonable notice before their implementation.
