As part of our ongoing commitment to conserve energy and increase overall efficiency, our maintenance team has over time been replacing low voltage bulbs with LED (Light Emitting Diode) bulbs.

RCI Silver Crown Award 2018 – 2019

Once again, we are proud and delighted to announce that all Crown Resorts have been awarded the coveted Silver Crown status from RCI for 2019 as well as the Select Tier Recognition award granted by Interval International for 2019.

Taxis promoting Crown Resorts

Crown Resorts and Radio Taxi Mijas continue its collaboration. A number of taxis from this consortium display the Crown Resorts logo which is seen by hundreds of people each day.
This is a simple and effective advertising medium which assists the Club to ascertain increased exposure in the local area.

Health and Safety compliance at the Club

Health and Safety is of primary importance for us at the Club and continuous actions and measures are undertaken onsite as part of the Club’s efforts to fully adhere and exceed in this respect.
Examples of H&S measures undertaken:

The implementation of a walkway offering additional safety at Club Marbella

Full compliance with the Fire and Evacuation recommendations further to the audit undertaken at the Club in May 2018:

Installation of additional fire extinguishers in communal áreas
The placing of fire blankets in all apartments
The placing of fluorescent emergency floor plans into each apartment

ANAYCO, our collaborating and accredited laboratory responsible for hygiene and sanitary compliance, offered a 2 day refresher course on the prevention of Legionnaires. This course was attended by a number of members of staff.

A number of staff participated in a First Aid training course which was recently offered by the Club’s accredited Health and Safety Advisors.

Channel 1

A more efficient and modern platform has been implemented to transmit holiday information to our apartments and to be visible in common areas. The new system “Channel 1” enables us to display limitless content such as webpages, videos, ongoing headlines, news updates, banners, weather forecast, etc., with HD resolution.

This new information channel will assist in our efforts to ensure that Members and guests are kept up to date with “What’s on?’” during their stay at the Club.

At time of writing “Channel 1” has been implemented at Club Marbella and its implementation in the other resorts will be phased in over the coming months. ENJOY!

The data protection law changed on 25 May 2018 and this has caused all organisations to think carefully how they collect and manage personal data.
