Dear Crown Points Members and Guests,

Following the outbreak of Coronavirus COVID-19, the resorts are now closed due to there being complete “lockdown” enforced in Spain which includes border closures and no incoming flights.

Crown Resorts have complied with all Government requirements during the ‘State of Emergency’ currently in place until 26th April 2020 (date correct at the time of writing) and includes the measures below:

  • All pools have been closed (indoor and outdoor pools).
  • All common areas have been closed, including: saunas, changing rooms, fitness area, multi-use sport courts, squash and paddle courts, children’s playgrounds, food and beverage outlets (Café Marbella at Club Marbella and L.A. Cocina at Club Calahonda).
  • On-site guests have been asked to comply with the “STAY AT HOME” rule.
  • No further guests are allowed on-site.

Although existing on-site guests were allowed to stay at Crown Resorts, most of them decided to go home following the recommendations of their Embassy or Consulate.

Crown Resorts’ staff ensured at all times that on-site guests were offered the assistance required until their departure to their home country.
